Parachute Kids is a graphic novel written by Betty C. Tang about 3 kids immigrating from Taiwan to California. It has some scary scenes but is still good for children under 10, it takes places in the early 80s and contains some conflicts that are not as current in political situations, such as girls rights, cultural rights but still relevant. This book is highly recommended for readers ages 8+
