in this two book autobiography series by Christina Soontornvat it features the young author growing up as a second generation mixed Thai girl she is into cheerleading and tries out two times she has lived in Grangeview Texas for 5 years at the end of the series she also faces bullying and discrimination due to its time in the 1990s this is a great book about friendship school and diversity
